In Norse mythology, Ginnungagap is the great primordial void that existed before the world itself. Suspended between the frozen realm of Niflheim and the fiery world of Muspelheim, it was within this silent abyss that creation began. As ice and fire met across the void, their union gave rise to the first living being and set into motion the birth of the cosmos. This piece seeks to capture this yawning gap, a place without form, time, or certainty.
