Program Notes

I wrote this piece reflecting on all of the emotions that comes with closing a large chapter of your life, while entering another. The nostalgia of looking back on times, both good and bad, can be both immensely satisfying for making it to the end and extremely sad that it is over. This can quickly turn into excitement and fear for the future, making us unsure of what will happen next and often it happens rapidly and without warning. Moving Forward is about all of these things, the love and pain you leave behind and the thrilling prospects the future holds.
